I began my design career in New York, working alongside Christine Van Der Hurd, a leading figure in textile design. Returning to the UK, I moved into publishing at Condé Nast’s influential The World of Interiors before becoming Style Director at Time Inc’s Livingetc magazine, a role I held for over a decade. At Livingetc, I led a highly creative team, shaping visual narratives that influenced interior trends, inspired global audiences, and were widely syndicated in books and international publications.

Today, my practice encompasses both interior design and art direction. As an art director, I collaborate with clients including Conran, Benchmark, Muji, Liberty, Nest, and Original BTC.

As an interior designer, I lead residential and commercial projects that celebrate craft, aesthetics, and contemporary design. My approach emphasises emotional resonance, functionality, and sustainability – shaping not only how spaces look but how they feel and enrich daily life.

Alongside my professional practice, I teach art and design to students of all ages. I believe design education nurtures curiosity, critical thinking, and self-expression. By encouraging the exploration of materials, ideas, and processes, I empower students to engage with the world in imaginative and meaningful ways.
